Is your oil level good? There is a low oil sensor in the oil pan (not the same as oil pressure) they are known to go bad. So if your oil level is good the sensor itself is giving you a false reading. The sensor 89491-33030 is over $300.

wow thank you, it’s been going on and off once in a while. I still have yet to check the oil level because I just got back from driving it. Because I haven’t seen any oil spots left behind so once I check the level it’ll most definitely determine what the issue is. Thank you again for the quick help!!

Check the oil! It's probably fine but that's not good enough.

Hello,
There is actually a way to repair them, I did manage to pull it off with UCF20, where the problem was more pronounced. Here is a thread that I found on the subject, in my case though, it ended up being the soldering that gave out, so I only had to re-solder the pins.
The way it works is pretty interesting, there are two sensors in one package, and both involve Reed switches. One is a simple magnet attached to the float, when the level gets low, the Reed Switch opens, tripping the light. The other though is a Temperature switch, there are Two magnets in the second stem of the sensor, located in-between a material that can change its Magnetic conductivity when heated, once the temperature reaches a certain threshold, Magnetic conductivity of the insert between magnets increases, tripping the switch.
It is the Temperature switch that usually gives out, it is there to prevent the light from coming on in corners, when oil can get pushed to one side. See if there are any cracks in the soldering, then test it with a torch, if nothing else, the Reed Switches are pretty cheap and easy to replace following the guide linked above, the switches can be found at Digi-Key.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

Thank you for the recommendation I’m planning on changing the oil very soon anyway so I’ll be sure to check and see if all the parts are correctly connected

^^ sweet I never took the time to mess with the sensor.
Reed switches are some of the most interesting components ever made. The tiny bit of metal bends millions of times and doesn't break, we know this because they were used in speed sensors.
