OEM MAF sensor?

OEM MAF sensor?
98 ES300 with around 190k
Upon diagnosis of a poorly running engine with lean codes its been found that the MAF sensor is giving bad readings under load and at idle.
I'm not surprised, in my inexperience I bought a MAF sensor from Advanced Auto a while back. They lied about the OEM spec of course.
My question is where I might be able to get an OEM spec MAF sensor. I couldnt seem to find a Denso one for this specific model and I'm wary of trusting another aftermarket maker claiming OEM. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
How did you check the readings? If they are too low, it can indicate a Vacuum Leak instead of a failed sensor.
Here is a good place to get OEM parts for a reasonable price.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

Thanks for a link, I got the MAF read by a mechanic. I'm guessing he used a fancy OBD II scanner to read the values. He found that it was giving low readings on open throttle, and high readings on idle.
It sounds strange to me and I've never came across something like it. But I know these cars are picky with the sensors they take. Usually I'd look for Denso or NTK/NGK but no luck up to now. If theres something I may be missing please let me know. Thanks for the help.

That sounds about right, readings being Higher than expected at idle is a good red flag, as the naturally aspirated engine can't physically intake More air than its volume. Sounds like a basic age degradation that those can suffer over time, that is if it's a trusted mechanic and you were provided actual values..
Hope this helps and best of luck!
