Lately been having trouble with the battery overnight the battery discharges and doesn’t start in the morning. I have installed a aftermarket radio so I thought maybe that was the problem so I did a draw test and got 0.6-0.7 while the car is completely off. If I take the 20A RAD NO.1 fuse for the audio/radio out it drops to 0.5 which I think is a reasonable amount.

Another observation is the battery will read around 12.4-12.5 V however when the key is in the ignition and I try to start it just clicks and the voltage goes down to about 11.4 V. After jump starting the car it reads about 14.3~ volts with the alternator.

I’m thinking about changing the battery for an agm higher cca (currently 630 cca) battery? Any advice how to proceed? Thanks

0.5 amps is about double what I see as typical. Easy to tell if your battery is good or not go to most any outlet that sells car batteries they will test it for you. I have not had good luck with AGM batteries maybe your experience will be better.
