Where does this engine 2-pin conn go? 96 ES300 1mzfe
Hello,
I replaced my leaky high pressure hose from the pump to the hydraulic fan. While installing, I found this connector dangling. I must have pulled it off while pulling the old hose out.
It's a 2-pin connector with a yellow-blue and yellow wires. I found it next to the passenger-side firewall coming out of the larger wire loom.
Can anyone identify what this connector is for and where does it plug into?
Thanks!
Byron
Accidentally disconnected this 2-pin, yellow-blue and yellow connector between the fire wall and engine, passenger side, while replacing the high pressure hose from the pump to the hydraulic fan
Detail of 2-pin, yellow-blue and yellow connector.

Maybe the fan control solenoid on the power steering pump? Not sure it's been a long time since I had my 3VZ Camry (has same hydraulic fan).

If that is the solenoid connector it means your fan is stuck in low speed mode be careful you engine could over heat.

Yes, I think it's the solenoid connector, same color connector. Also, I came across a used p/s pump that shows the cut wires matching my two wire colors.
Yep, my motor will overheat if it's disconnected. I'll connect it.
