2002 ES300 have to steer all the time to drive straight
Hello bonjur!
My power steering is stiff both sides. And i think it is because i have to steer left constantly, otherwise car turns right in 2 seconds.
Before i change ps pump i need advice on what to do first , since every visit to shop is costly.
I dont know why car constantly turning rightside.
So i have jacked my front to free front axle and when i turn steering wheel all the way to right , it stays there.
But if i turn steering wheel all the way to the left, it turns back by itself.
I assume it is the cause of my problem. SO i went to do allignment, twice i got reply it is within specs.
Shopmaster said it is my left strut turns on its own, offered change of strut for 1000cad.
Can the strut be damaged or bended so its turning on its own?

Tension on one side will cause this could be a bent strut, control arm, tie rod etc. but such damage doesn't happen easily. Has the car smacked a curb, been in an accident?
