Default P0768 Fault code: Shift Solenoid "D" Electrical

My 2000 Lexus ES300 threw a P0768 fault code along with the check engine and trac off light displayed (steady).
There is no issue I can feel. The car runs fine and I wonder if the problem is not internal to the transmission, but a connection issue.
The problem is intermittent in that when the car is shut off for a time and then started later, the error disappears, sometimes for weeks at a time, then returns.

Anyone experience this and is there something I can do that does not involve dropping the transmission pan. The car shifts fine.
Thanks

Did you ever change the transmission fluid?

No, I have never changed the transmission fluid. At this point, I worry it might cause more problems? The fluid color is reddish, and the transmission runs fine which is why this is puzzling.
Maybe a wire connection external to the transmission? Where can I check?

People are telling you to change your transmission fluid you're ignoring that advice. I'll say it again why ask for help then ignore it? FYI you can't judge fluid quality by looking at the dipstick this is common sense, a small amount of fluid looks clean a large amount reveals the true condition.

Default U may not have to drop pan, u may have a drain plug 4 tranny

Pretty easy job if u buy some front wheel ramps to drive ip on. Also i bought an electric fluid pump from Temu.com and suctioned out about 2 qts from the diptick tube which was about the same as using the drain plug. Per Oro on the site i used about an oz of b12 Berrymans fuel injection cleaner for every qt of tx fluid, to unvarnish, unstick the solenoid, now my P0753 shift solenoid "A" Electrical code comes and goes, i use low gear to move quickly from stoplights , the car starting stalling and i hope is fuel, air or spark and not the tranny. Since car new to me, i may have the tx filter changed soon, low miles 47k, appears almost new but not drving it much by prior owner may cause issues now.
