What Size Speakers in the doors?
I have a 2000 es300 and I was wondering what size speakers fit in the doors and the tweeters? Also how deep of a magnet could i get? Thanks.

your door speakers are 6 1/2.Im not sure but I do believe the tweeters are an inch an a quarter but you can use an inch an a half...I once was trying to replace them myself,but the cost of the labor was really high because their hooked up to factory amps that are mounted under the dash.so switching omes would be a b#$% !!! my 97 es didn't come with a cd changer
mad: so I had a 10 disc kenwood added,and that was my whole problem.Im running 2 12's(rockfordfosgate)subs and a bad a$$ punch amp of the factory 10' sub,and when I played cd's it sound as clean as I wanted.I did away with it because I was going to replace the head unit but Ironically today I ran across a potable cd player, when and bought the tape adapter and BAM
It made all the diffrence!!!!its sounds clean and very satisfied...

I have a 95 and on the door it is 6 1/2, but i know for a fact that they make a kick panel enclosure box for the door on the 2000 es 300, which you can put a speaker and comes with a tweeter all together!!!! Check it out at www.crutchfield.com

lemme tell yall something, the size speakers on an es 96 is NOT 6 1/2 because i had to make a new mounting to get my 6 1/2 quarts in there. just had to get it off my chest.
