I purchased a 2002 ES300. I know this thread re: Memory Mirror Module is old, but I'm hoping someone can help. I bought the car and didn't know neither side mirror or memory seat worked. I've called my lexus dealer and they are trying to sell me a 977.00 part. My mechanic where it is now says it's the memory mirror module but that's it will be a very long process to replace it because the dash has to come out to get to it. Has anyone done this before and any insight would be greatly helpful. Just need to know where the module is and steps to get to it. Some say you have to take the complete dash out and others just the lower chamber of the dash. How many hours does it take?

Might be a stupid question, but have you checked the fuses first? Also from what I see online you can get that part for 50-120$. I'm sure installation shouldn't cost that much money. I found this video - I know it's a '03 but it should be similar (
). Personally, I would never go to a dealership with my '03 ES300. They would overprice everything.
