Default Yeah I know

Yeah I know I gotta adjust the tach and speedo needles…
also did all this myself..very tedious rebuilding the needles but the capacitors weren’t too bad.

Mine needs adjustment also., My speedo is shows 36 mph when the radar on the side of the road shows 41 mph
The tach seems about right at idle and I have to check with obd2 to see higher..
If you do the adjustment - could you describe it in detail...Much appreciated

I will do that. You have to remove the cluster from the car first. Then carefully remove the needle for each incorrect gauge, then carefully replace the needle with the tip of the needle pointing at 0. The electrical connector/receiver on the back of the needle is square and larger that the small pins on the gauges motor ,the allows for misalignment, but also adjustability .If your needle reads anything other than 0 at key on engine off ,then it needs to be adjusted to 0. Tannin auto has an awesome video on YouTube on the needles adjustment and replacement of the v3 /v4 boards that light the needles!

The MPH and RPM needles need to be at 0 otherwise they will not read correctly.

I can see why my speedo is off... I want to check the tach with the OBD software running. I have a dash cam that seems to match up with the radar units on the side of the road.. Thanks for the tips.. This is not something I'll be doing until the cool weather returns...
