Default 04 Headlight bulb options request

Hello

After a VIN verification, my 04 has Halogen high beams and HID low beams.
Both are worn out, in need of replacement

For the high beams I am going to go with the Luxster Punisher 2024. Anyone use these?

For the low beams I am not decided on an HID company / brand.
What have you use for super bright light - 6K ?

thanks

H2

Luxster is a highly rated bulb you should be happy with it. For low beam I'd go with thiese
https://www.hidconcept.com/en-ca/col...ulbs-pack-of-2

Not saying to buy from that site necessarily but be very careful what vendor you use there are loads of fake bulbs. FYI for HIDs the higher the colour temp the lower your light output this isn't the case with LEDs. I prefer 6000K some people insist on ~4500K.

Hello,

Here is a good place to get the bulbs, both Low and High beams. I've had those Phillips D2R bulbs installed in my 2000 ES300 for about half a year now, no issues so far, work better than my beat up OEM bulbs with over 200,000 miles on them, if that helps at all..

Hope this helps and best of luck!

LEDs work in DRL applications? I never considered LEDs because I thought it would kill the DRL option.

(Why is it when I click an Amazon link it redirects to this page?)

I had to get a $30 adapter to make them work, but now they do. They light up with about half the brightness when in DRL mode. Gives the car a more updated look

DRL as part of the high beam circuit prevents most LED bulbs from working without a "cancelling" module. Which one did you buy exactly?
