Talking Found another mod I've been looking for..

I finally found the sidemarkers that are on the jdm spec Windoms. I read that I will have to drill holes to put these in, but I don't mind... they look good. For those who may want some, I think there are 11 left in this auction.

Not a German car? These came stock on Windoms in Japan. I don't think they look bad, it's something different... I guess.

it's just not my thing on Japanese cars. nothing wrong with it, just brings the focus away from the major area's of the original design. Each car is designed to focus on certain area's when you look at it. i think it throws the focus off, but it certainly isn't a "bad" thing.

Now instead of looking at the very front of the car i focus on the entire nose, which may throw the proportions off in my mind.

Why is that? I'm still confused on why it's "bad" to drill through your fender other than there being a hole when or if the side marker is ever removed?

Cool

Put it lower, horizontally with the line the blinker creates & then you'll have something. IMHO it looks out of place b/c it's slightly too big & too high.

To each his own though!

it is perfectly lined up with the turn signal, if you mean put it at the same level as the orange piece, which is a reflector and does not glow... thats a bad idea. you want it to light up same level as the bulb, which is where it is........

need a smaller side marker? buy the audi ones from 97..... clear, black, or orange you can buy them in.......

Hmm, I'm not sure if I want the to be on when my head lights are on (static) or only when I do my signal lights... How about them being on with my headlights and then also blinking when I signal? How's that?

Would it be possible to get a side marker that was clear? IMO a clear one would look a lot better.

juano, yes, mine are not on when the headlights are on, they only flash....

you can get sidemarkers in clear, but it only looks good if you have clear corners... and since i do, i better get my *** in gear and get some clear ones

Hey Egainer, would it be possible for them to be on with the headlights and that's it, no flashing?

OR, can they be on with the headlights and flash also when I signal?
