Default 2004 ES330 Back Seat Room

Hi Guys,
We are considering purchasing a 2004 ES330, but the other day I noticed that the back seat room seemed a little cramped at the feet. Has anyone else noticed this? It seemed that there wasn't much room for my feet to go under the driver's seat and I am not a tall person by any means. 5'7" I would appreciate any input you have to offer. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum sir! There should be plenty of legroom in the back seat. I'm assuming the seat controls in the driver and passenger seats need to be adjusted and raised so that you have more legroom. I'm also 5'7", and find plenty of legroom in the back seat of my '01 ES. Good luck on finding the right ES330

The power seats allow you to raise the back portion of the seat to give more feet room. The rear seating is adequate for 5'7". I'm 5'8" and find it just fine.

With power seats, a lot depends not only on how you adjust the seats but where the designers actually place the electric motors under the seat....and how much space the motors themselves take up. The more different functions the seats have, the more equipment and linkages it takes to actually operate them......and the more space this stuff can take up under the seat. In fact, some recent power seats have not only motors for adjustment but built-in fans to cool them as well.

Default Plenty of Back Seat Room

Hi Guys,
I appreciate all the input. It turns out that the demo that we saw at the showroom had a driver's seat that had sagging upholstery (Passenger seat did not have this problem). I think it may have become damaged from all the people viewing it. The car that we test drove was quite roomy in the back. Sorry for any misunderstanding. We are very excited to be picking up our new ES330 this weekend and happy to become part of the Lexus community!

If anyone really needs a lot of back seat leg room check out the Toyota Avalon.
It's huge ! I just sold my 99 to get a ES330.
