Anyone know what type of rust warranty Lexus offers? I thought there was a 7 year rust warranty of sorts? Also, anyone know a good topical solution to prevent rust from spreading? Or is sanding down the paint the only option?

In all their models, Lexus has a Corrosion Perforation Warranty, which covers 72 months regardless of mileage. This warranty only covers repair or replacement of any original body panel that develops perforation from a rust-through, not surface rusting.
Here's an article from Paintscratch.com that discusses how to take care of rust from a car:

I usually get my vehicles rustproofed every 2 years with a product called Sym-Tech rust inhibitor. The undercarriage they use a black kind of "tar" substance & all other inner body panels is a yellow type of paste that is very durable & I have a good amount applied. I have the interior professionally scotchgarded with a leather protectant & the exterior paint finish has a "paint sealant" applied as well (again all symtech products). With frequent car washes (hand in spring & summer) & soft cloth in winter with an undercarriage spray
The chances of the car rusting are slim to none, & slim just left.
