Hi, I am a 26 year old living in Sydney, Australia. I suppose you would call me a trial lawyer in the States.
I have an awesome 25 year old girlfriend and we live in Chatswood (which is on the North Shore of Sydney).
We have a 99 ES300 which is beige/gold in colour. It has about 50,000 kms (30,000 miles?). It's in immaculate condition.
We also have a 98 GS300 in blue/beige. It has about 140,000 kms now (90,000 miles?). However, we are probably going to trade the GS300 in soon for another Lexus - not sure which one.

Waiting for my 92 ES to give up so I can buy an RX, but she seems to keep going strong!

The name is Sean here, 20 years old, grew up on Long Island, living in Manhattan now (keep the lexus safe in a parking garage) going to Baruch College as a Junior, formerly went to Fordham U, majoring in finance. I have an oyster pearl (yeah yeah, but I love it!) 97' ES300 and a fun red 88 BMW convertible that I just restored this summer.

An old thread brought back to life. Just had to comment when I saw this quote. SOmetimes I feel a little to old for this site too because you can tell by the posts people joining are getting younger and younger. I'm 46 but act and feel like 26. I'll talk to anyone about cars...especially Lexus cars. I was out riding this morning and saw a 350z opposite me at a traffic light. I could see it had 19 or 20 inchers with decent lip action. When the light chaged and I could see the driver, I was surprised it was a guy who looked 70 'ish. I shouldn't be surprised, especially here in south florida but it was nice to see an older guy pimping the ride. Then I though, wait...I'm over in the rich people side of town. This guy probably has some other nicer cars at the garage. I was tempted to follow him home.
Oops, forgot. I have a 99 es300. It's the 2-tone black and grey with tan interior. The only mod is 17 inch chrome Kruz wheels with Michelin tires. I really like the es. It drives well and handles decently for a big car. It's not quick but the power is more than adequate for getting you there in a hurry. I wish it were rear drive but how often does it really make a difference. Of course I have the sc300 with $12k worth of mods. Love Lexus cars.

reggiek, I know what you mean about meeting "older" people with their modded rides. I've seen my fair share of them around here, mostly Porsches and Benz's. In some of the past CL meets here in the NE, we've had a few "seniors" come out with their modded Lexi, and they all have just the same amount of appreciation of our cars as we all do. The cool thing about those people and their rides is that their modifications are strictly tasteful, not bland. I'm talking about rims, suspension, aero kit, whatever suits the car. When was the last time you've seen a 40-year old dude with spinners on his S-class?
