i must say im striving to be one of those 'tasteful' seniors when the time comes around

however....considering how fast the styles are changing, im not sure id appear 'tasteful' by the time i get enough money to mod my car o_O; im surprised those seniors' mods appear to be pretty damn nice even to us youngins

Are you the young guy who ran the E320 into a guard rail and then posted for opinions on what car to replace it with? If so, I remember your posts....I spoke with you several times on Mercedes vs. Toyota safety. I wondered what car you eventially ended up getting. Now we know.

What I meant is that ES owners are, on average (you may be an exception) a little more conservative than IS, GS, or SC buyers. They are in many cases potential LS buyers that just can't afford one. It is also noted that the ES , as the only purely front-drive Lexus product sold in the American market, is more traction-oriented and generally rules out aggressive handling.
But I don't want to get TOO stereotype oriented here. I don't believe in automotive stereotypes... ( I have written about this several times in some other threads )..... and that includes the ES.

Hi! I name is Jennifer.
I have a 94 ES that is costing way too much to fix. Like the a/c. It sucks to drive a lexus and not have air! I am fixing to put it in the shop for a few to get a new paint job that will be real nice,
I am also 22 years old and I work at a pharmacy counting pills all day long. Not too bad though.
Had a 93 mustang 5.0 but kept getting tickets so I bought a 97 Accord. Then one day I saw the Lex and I had to have it so I got it. That's about a wrap for me.
