Thats happening on my 98 ES300 too. Any known fix is of great help to fix ours. Thx.

Tonight it seemed a louder and it happened even when I was taking some turns. I put my head out the window and it sounds like it may be coming from the strut area.

yeah im pretty sure you need new strut mounts and bearings. It's prob. more noticable when it's cold.

yeah it is, it was like 70 today and I couldn't tell at all. You said this wasen't a big deal though right? Thanks

You're eventually going to need to replace the strutmounts anyways. When those go out then plan to change those, the bearings, struts and springs(if you want to lower it) Maybe a good time to go with JIC coilovers.
