Engine Stalling/Rough Idle.

Engine Stalling/Rough Idle.
Greetings All,
I've been looking through some of the previous posts on this but they seemed to be a bit different symptoms of my problem. (I had posted this before but I made some updates below)
For the past few years my 95 ES300 would periodically stall or run very rough. It only seemed to do this when their was a larger increase in the temperature during the day. (I live in Minnesota and at night it might be 25 degrees and the day it might be 50 or so.) I do not have the problem when the car sits overnight though. It only seems to be a problem when the car sits for say 15 minutes to an hour or so. When I go to start the car it will sometimes just stalls or run rough for 10 seconds or so then it runs fine(when it runs rough it usually runs at 500 to 600 rpm instead of the normal 800 to 900 rpm.) Once when it would not start I unplugged the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator and then it started up fine (but this increased the RPM). I did not see any gas coming from the regulator vacuum line either. It seem to only be a problem when the ouside air temp is about 50-60 degrees or so. I've recently changed spark plugs, air cleaner, PCV Valve and cleaned the throttle body and none of these had any effect. Do these cars have some sort of electronic choke that could be acting up? Any recommendations on what to check or what it might be? Also the car has about 125,000 miles on it.
Regards,
Chad

Thanks TCwindom, I did look at that thread and it seems his problem is different than mine. Mine is only a problem when the car is hot and the outside air temp is about 50-60. It just idles rough (it won't stay running unless I give it gas) for the first 20 seconds or so.

Starting problem during hot weather
I had the same situation with my 99 RX300AWD.
And I just fixed the problem by replacing:
22270-20050 Idle Air Control Valve
22215-20010 Gasket
The Idle Air Control Valve is located underneath the intake (not so easy to replace it)
Hope it help
