Hi fellow Lexus Lovers,
I just purchased a two-tone 97 Pearl White ES 300 with 65,000 miles. LOVING IT!.
1) What rims/wheels should I purchase of these two?
http://www.superbuytires.com/wheels_...&model=Samurai
or
http://www.superbuytires.com/wheels_...o&model=Vienna
2) What kind of tint should I get, Black, Brown, or mirror maybe?
Thanks
Andre

How about this?
(eg: I looked at those wheels but dont like them. But here is a set that I think would be a great alternative to what you may be looking for?)..... Opinionated and helpfull......
To your second part.... Yawn..
Getting back to the thread subject.... I liked the 1st set....

Welcome Andre Out of the two rims I like the first set also. As far as tint is comcerned, the car will look the best in the black or "charcoal" as it's also known. There are usually 3 popular shades which are usually 35%, 20% & 5%. These percentages refer to the % amount of light that is let into the cabin. As an example, the 5% is the darkest & is known as "limo tint". I just tinted my 01 ES with 20% (medium shade) charcoal all around (one colour I find looks the most classy). Get a quality tint installed by a professional. I had a problem with the place that installed mine the first time & make a long story short, the guy had a bad attitude & did a horrible job especially on the back window.......let's just say the guy is no longer employed with this company & I had the entire car re-tinted at no charge. Car looks sweet now! I hope to have pics up soon! Check with your state laws as well to see if there is a limit to the darkness you can have. Good Luck!

Wow,
Thanks for the excellent response. I think i will go with the limo tint even though it against the law in Ny.

Be carful with the "limo" tint on the front drivers & passenger windows......if you get stopped by the police, they can make to take off the tint on the spot & that's not good.......I'd suggest getting at the most 20% on the fronts & "limo" on the rest if you want it dark. The cops get suspicious when they can't see at least a little bit into the front windows & that gives them an excuse to pull you over.
