Default Plate screws removal

Okay! Prev Owner had plastic screwes fixed for plates and when he sold it to me he couldn't take of plastic screws and ripped of plate from screws. Now I can't fix new plates in as both holes have left over plastic screws. Is there any easy way to remove stuck plastic screws ?

Idea/help would be appreciated. Thx

use a small "easy out",

or

heat the tip of a small screw driver so that you can melt a slot in the plastic that is left in the hole.
Let the slot reharden and then gently ease the remains out of the hole with the same screwdriver.

back them out with an "easy out" just like you would a metal screw that has broken off.

Sears makes a product for this exact call.

you could try drilling them out with a drill smaller than the inside diameter of the threads, but then you have the thread material to remove.
