can you mod the engine in the es
#31
They wanted links so I gave them... It is possible as both engines can be done custom. Just remember that it won't work with 1mz's with vvti, and you also must swap the engine ecu to the Camry ecu.
On another note... Like I told Sean I had a life altering experiance over the weekend.
'78 Ford pickup with a 400ci. Me a buddy and the owner (his uncle-in-law) were doing 140+ on backroads.
He has timeslips showing 9.27-9.5 range, it does spin all the way down and no I do not doubt them!
That's with a worn out 4,000lbs brick of a truck with stock suspension and new all weather tires...
Simply awsome...
And no... I don't think anyone will successfully turbo an ES until someone does a kit as I don't see any engine tuners on the board, nor anyone dumb enough to drop so much money into our car LoL!

If you're willing to put out the money, then I'll root for ya. Just remember we have 10 new posters every month wanting to be the first to turbo and all known information has been covered, or quite simply noone knows!
