Maybe warped tires? Try looking for any air bumps on the tires or maybe the weight is uneven?

Yeah man, just as a rule of thumb, the OEM shocks/struts will not last long with a wheel upgrade and/or new springs, so it's generally a good idea to upgrade the struts. At least we now know what can happen if the factory struts have been kept on a long time with bigger wheels

What kind of shocks/struts you'll be getting? If you haven't looked, may I suggest KYB-GR2 gas struts (~$250 per set):

or the Tokico HP shocks/struts (~$360 per set):

You can get these parts from http://www.tmengineering.net

That depends on the quality and brand equity of these shocks/struts. There are literally many different brands of aftermarket shocks/struts, but only a handful are applicable to the ES. Best thing to do is to heavily research the shocks/struts that would fit appropriately with your car, and to ask those who have previous expensive with these or those shocks/struts. Do you want your car to last (a long time)? If so, think about paying the extra dollar for a fairly expensive and quality set of shocks/struts (such as KYB, Tokico and Tanabe). Just my $.02

MrLexus, now is a great time to lower your car, since you will need to upgrade all the struts (if the rears went then that means the fronts are on their way) PM a member named 1SICKLEX he was putting a group buy together for 1.8 springs and struts, good luck
