According to Edmunds:
Lexus ES300 1998:
Acceleration (0-60 mph): 8.7 sec.
Horsepower: 200 hp
Torque: 214 ft-lbs.
Lexus ES300 1999
Acceleration (0-60 mph): 8.7 sec.
Horsepower: 210 hp
Torque: 220 ft-lbs.
Lexus ES300 2000
Acceleration (0-60 mph): 7.7 sec.
Horsepower: 210 hp
Torque: 220 ft-lbs.
If you take a closer look you will notice that the horsepowergain took place in 99, but in 99 0-60 times were the same as in 98. But with the same horsepower in 2000, 0-60 times were decreased by a second.
Did Edmunds make a mistake writing that 99 is 8.7 seconds in 0-60?
