Tire Rack recommends 215-50/17 size for tires. This is based on best fit with the stock suspension of the car.

Just my 2 cents.. I know alot of people like to go as big as they can.. But for me, I want to go bigger obviously than the stock 15's.. But I think 17 is a smart choice.. Its bigger, yet, still enough tire to give you a comfortable ride.. I think anything bigger, then you are giving up too much on ride quality.. Again, only my opinion....

With that drop you may wanna go with the 215/45 to prevent potential rub

but you also realize that you will have to change your struts also...the factory struts cant take that drop...
You are going to make the ride rough also..like crazy....its gonna make the lexus feel rough.
abnormally rough.

I dont know if the 225/15/17's will clear the wheel well lip.
and no matter what the guys at the rim shop say ..DONT ROLL YOU FENDERS welds!!
