Alright, I have decided to give in and do some show mods to my ES over the summer.

18" Bronze Volks
Shave all chrome trim around windows, etc
Smooth out those areas and fill in.
Gold windom badging (thanks to juan01 for selling me the silver ones)

Thanks to egainer for pshopping someones lex for me real quick to look like mine lol.

Let me know what you think about these ideas...

 

those rims go great with the es300. And I like the bronze color. I'd say go for it, it will look great. I'm still deciding on rims myself. I can't wait to see pictures. by the way, how many miles are on your es now?

 

I'm at about 178-9k

 

dammmmm!!!!! that many miles on a 92 es lol i wish i had that many ion mine i'm pushing 150,000 on a 97.

anyway you ride looks nice and don't let people get you down about what your doing to your ride because some members on this site thinks it their GOD given right to tell you "YOU SHOULDN'T DO THAT TO A LEXUS " or "THAT LOOKS RICE" whatever .....as long as your happy with it then it the baddest "ES" on the planet.
just take a look of what i done to my ride over the past months and now i winning 1st and 2nd place at car shows. (that what i doing for my es) so i'm happy for you. mcelligot your ride it looks diff but very nice.

Yay.... Go for all the plans, except instead of making the emblems gold, make them black like your headlights!! That would be sweet. It's up to you though.

Wow.. Its amazing how my original Windom Badges ended up in your hands mcelligott!.. Hahaha, thats fantastic!... The new mods should look great.. Love to see when done.... Yeah also, golds not the way to go.. I have a green Celsior at work here, that parks next me.. He has all gold badges over it, and it looks very very tacky.. Stick with silver, or the dark.. But not gold... Just had another look at your pic.. Have you thought about chrome emblems with a set of chrome spokes.. I have seen a few green Windoms with the chrome spokes, and it it suits it well!.. Just personally, Im not a big fan of bronze with green or blue.. But again, just my opinion....

Now everyone keep in mind MCE not only has a 170k+ mile vehicle, he also has the fastest ES on the board and for what we know , the planet! (I doubt the s/c that was tested on a car puts out what he can with nos)

I like the bronze w/ the gold badges on our es's.
I'm curious though, still trying to sell one of the Eclipses and the ES?

but who wants black pearl on a black car? Just take the badge off if youre gonna blend it in. I like my gold badges on my black paint Stands out more than the typical silver.

 

Black pearl looks good on black... Just ask lexusk8.

And mcelligott's car is green...not black.

I agree with Toysrme. I like the bronze with the gold badges. I have gold on my car and i love them. I also have to agree with juan01 if you do decide to go with the black it would look great as well.
btw you have a very nice ride!

 

That pic is awesome, now all you need is 20% or 5% 3m tint!
