How to increase power to 93 ES300
Hi,
I have a 93 ES300 and I just wish it has a little more power and acceleration. I dont if it's a Transmision problem. Would 93 Toyota Camry transmision feat my 93 ES300?
I want to find out if there is any cheap mods out there that will improve the acceleration of this car. Such as chip, intake, exhausts, etc. I am willing to spend up to $1000.
Please feel free to suggest any mods that you have done and is satisfied with.
Thanks
DjCee

On a budget, sub $1K: replace the exhaust, intake mods and take out all the extra "stuff" that isn't necessary to have in the car. Short of stripping it, which I'm not talking about: keep the trunk clean, not as a second storage place for books, sports equipment and resist the tempation for a huge stereo...they weigh alot when all fabbed up.
Beyond that, the ES and older platforms do not have the technological advances like the current crop of cars. Watchout for the SVT Focuses and like.
