Here's a weird Question (who has the highest mileage ES)
#78
I have a 2000 es300 with 182k =] The engine was replaced by warranty in 2006 at 100k so my engine has 81k on it.
And to make things better, my baby girl has a brand new transmission put in a few months ago. =] Rode like new until my struts started making noise. =\

I have a 1996 Lexus ES300 with 205,801 miles , drives like heaven & even people with newer model cars say my car feels & drives so good, therefore I'm proud of my 14 year old baby still getting compliments

Ready to trash it
I have a 1999 with 225,XXX miles and it recently started leaking power steering fluid like crazy. Not too psyched about sinking more money in the car. It has been a beast of a vehicle though.

Wow, congratulations. That is very rare to hit 400K miles on an ES. I also hit 400,000 miles last July 2010 but was rear-ended a week later. Bummer huh? See how far you can take your car and good luck and happy driving...

Still going
I have a 2002 ES 300 with 177,200 miles on it.
I'm the 2nd owner, bought it in May 2006 with 91,700 on it. Maintenance has been done religiously such as oil changes every 5-6K, transmission service every 30-60k, and timing belt/water pump at 90K, plus regular services like brakes, tires, wiper blades, etc.
The only issues I have had have been: a clogged AC hose which caused H2O to leak into the cabin through the floor AC vent (only about $75 to repair), and a short in the electrical system that ruined the battery and starter, which cost around $600 to repair. I was also broadsided and had close to $10k in damage, but the body work was fantastic and it looke like new.
This car has been an absolute delight to drive. My next car will be a used one owner RX when this one bites the dust.
I'm a few months away from the 90k service. Does anyone have an idea how much will this cost me in the metro PGH, PA area?
