In my opinion it's a completely tacky mod -- might as well hang your high school graduation tassle up there too. But thats just my opinion.

The Fusa represents the Danjiri Festival which happens in Southern Part of Osaka, Japan which is where Junction Produce started and is home to. JP started to "sport" the Fusa as a sense of pride for where they are from and also it is like a good luck charm or prayer in regards to you. As soon as JP started sporting the Fusa, it caught on very quickly and became a symbol for VIP cars everywhere even if they were not from Osaka.

Agreed, looks like you just graduated something.
Do a worthwild mod, like hanging MG Beads like I have, or the colored flowers

Don't mean to stereotype, but you guys are in the midwest and south...car culture there is nothing like out here in the West specifically. Sport Compact Car, Hot Import Nights and the ideals of J-Spec styled car culture....that American spawned idea of "JDM" all started all here in SoCal. I guess it's safe to say that we're geographically advantageous in terms of the Japanese culture and of course the commerce we get.

Only ever see them in VIP magazine ad's... But as the average VIP car I see here, its never seen... Dont know about Osaka, but in Kyushu I dont see any.. My wifes brother is into VIP, and I told him about this thread.. He agrees with me, not something he wants in his car... We both do however have an Omamori in our cars.. Its from a temple near where we live.. It is a subtle little good luck charm that sits on the passengers side... The big dangly thing is a little try-hardish, and thats from my Japanese brother-in-law!...
