I'm going to try to attend many car shows this summer and finsh my inteior and Alpine Video System

 

I want to join a car show once, just to help the team with an extra entry.

 

all summer i'm going to be saving and preparing for the NOPI nats in september...

Plans before then (dreams)

-Custom molded carbon fiber eyelids, along with some other stuff molded
-Polished to almost chrome intake manifold
-JDM front bumper w/ a repaint
-custom headlight painting (no, not black)
-windom emblems...

Like said... these are dreams... but if I get them done. I'll be with my club on midway at NOPI.

Either way... lol, I have a press pass. So even if I don't enter... I'll be there.

I've got a ton of JDM stuff sitting here, waiting to be installed, along with some posiible 18"s. And I'd like to get my car painted all black.

Maintenance-wise, I'm done for the summer albeit oil changes; I completed the 90K service about two months ago. I will definitely hit 100K in my '01 ES before the end of this year

Mods-wise, nothing certain on the radar now. Just planning to keep the car looking clean inside and out wherever I go, even though it's routine for me.

 

Selling it and finally getting my IS...

 

mine is going to sit in the shade and take it easy while I tool around on the zuki all summer.

since my ES is done now... ( which mean no more mods ) so what it left is clean/fixing up:
- clean up my interior
- fix up my side skirt
- replace passanger side fog light

 

Any idea when the new one is out? Or rather, IS a new one going to come out? IS430?

 

getting some 18"s, either of these:






still need to get tints. $1600 worth of unexpected repairs has put me back a bit.

after that, maybe throw some LEDs in the wheel wells to highlight the wheels at night.

get a touch up kit and try to make my rear bumper semi-presentable. after one minor accident and dozens of scrapes from goofballs who dont know how to parallel park, it looks like crap. really, the whole bumper needs to be replaced, but i don't even want to know how much that would cost.

finally, hook up my amp correctly because the idiots at circuit city had no idea what they were doing so i have to rewire it myself.
