juan01 and el gato have nice rides, also the worlds best looking ES (the Autocouture model) is black. dont know if that means anything
I agree. Graphite Gray Pearl was offered on the 2000-01 bodystyle and looks great. It's the same color as found on the IS and the 2004 ES 330 SportDesign (and the 02 GS SportDesign/RX Coach Edition).

Somebody at my work just got a brand new 04 ES 330 SportDesign in Thundercloud Metallic--great color in between silver and gray. If I were to go with a custom monotone paint job like Juan01 or MrLexus, TCM would definitely be my first pick (followed by Graphite Gray Pearl).

I agree with ya D man. The color is actually called Graphite Gray. It looks so gorgeous with the newer tailights and front bumper assy. Chrome or black pearl emblems definitely add the touch, and I just gotta say no to gold emblems

Hey man, quit pressuring me into the A/C conversion LOL!

haha, thanks for the mention dudes. I dig gato's black as well, it was what I wanted way when I first started driving, but when it finally came time to get a paint job, I figured that I did not have the patience to take care of it. My last two choices were actually a graphite gray color of the IS300 and the vapor blue from the RX300. I admit, the color was not what I expected at first (the color looked so much lighter in the Dupont book). I had not seen a vapor blue vehicle in person, just in pictures.... but I am happy with the way it turned out.

Smile Dark Green

Dark green with silver gray bottom looks almost magnetic at sunset. Seen in that light, it's a different car; you just want to melt into it.

You can find the exact color code by locating the white rectangular sticker when you open the driver's door and you look down the side of the door. The color code has 3 alphanumeric characters, and indicates a certain factory Lexus color (e.g. mine is 202 - Black Onyx). You can find all the possible color codes for your car here.

BTW is your ES painted monotone (one color)? Looks nice and clean

I've got '96 Taupe - there is nothing like it on any other cars on a road
Too bad it had been discontinued in 97 Why?? Didn't people like it??
