Hey does anyone eles have any trouble with there 6 disc changer? mine wont play cds and somtimes doesnt even play normal cds as well.

I used to have trouble with the CD changer in my '96 ES. Then I put in the self-cleaning CD into it (you can find this self-cleaning CD at any music store), and the CD picked up a lot of dust from inside the changer. Made all the difference, and I was able to play all my CDs OK.
I'd try getting the CD changer cleaned up and see what happens

i bought the car with out the cd holder for the cds. so the holder is brand new. do u mean the dust is in the changer or in the holder for the cds?

Dust is collected inside the CD changer. You can do yourself a favor and buy a cheap $3-$4 self-cleaning CD at your local Virgin Music, Strawberries, Sam Goody, etc. It comes in different brands, but it should work for CD players/changers in cars too.
