MRLEX, is your ES lowered? I know you have a bunch of mods done up to your ride (as displayed from a couple shows you competed), but I can't remember if your suspension is stock or upgraded

That depends on how you look at it. With a set of springs and shocks, your ride will handle better, minimize body roll, less nose dive when braking, and last but not least, looks better with less fender-tire gap. However, you'll sacrifice some of the quiet and comfort factors from your stock suspension ride, and there's possibility of tires rubbing or interfering with any of the suspension parts.
In essence, you'll lose the stock Lexus ride quality with an upgraded suspension, but your car will drive more like an urban race car Also, most people opt to upgrade the suspension whenever they get bigger tires and wheels. Good luck with your decision man.

Either I should be sueing the the education department in the state I grew up, or I simply cant read..But the guy posted that he wanted to know about 18's for his friends "04" ES... Now I am sure they are nice wheels that you have, but I think he wanted to see what this particular size would look like on a later model? Go and read it again..
