have 98 es300. want tochange my first oil.
can i use the topsider to suction oil from the oil dip. also whatt tools do i need to take oil filter.
step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated.

What type of oil will you be using? Be careful of the location of the oil filter because of the angle it will be a tad messy

No you cannot siphon the oil from the dipstick tube.

You need a filter wrench (either exact size to use w/a ratchet, or a metal universal compression type one), a socket to remove the plug, lots of rags and paper towels and of course the 5 quarts of oil, oil filter and drain pan for the oil. If you don't know what these things are, you should get someone more qualified to help you out or even do the job for you.

Give this kid credit for being conscientious. You gotta change the oil in this car regularly without fail. Too many owners of this 3.0L V6 don't, and this engine is not forgiving....it will sludge, gel, and sieze up.
