I usually put fuel injector cleaner every time i change my oil. I'm changing my oil out in a few days and im wondering if you guys knew of any really good fuel injector cleaner i should use. + do you guys know of anything else i should put in / do to my car to increase the gas mileage or perhaps increase the longevity of the engine. I've already tried the K&N air filter, which im very satisfied with. 98 ES3 with 97,000 miles.

I agree with flip, there is NO need to use a fuel injector cleaner that often (I use Valvoline synpower "complete fuel system cleaner" once, MAYBE twice a year depending on the milage I do), as it's overkill & a waste of money. His other suggestions are correct as well. I use Sunoco Ultra 94 gasoline so stick to a quality gasoline as well. Put the fuel system cleaner in your tank before you fill up just before going on a nice long highway drive for best results.
An engine immobilizer is a theft deterrant device. There is computer chip on the car & in your key (factory ones at least) and it has a signal one sends to the other in order to be able to start your car. If you don't have that chip in your key or someone tries to smash your ignition & steal it, since there is no signal, the fuel system will shut off so now the car can't be started. Generally speaking, unless the thief has a forklift or something simular, they can't steal your car......or at least drive it away.
IF your car has one, the owners manual should explain it to you in more detail.

If the injector cleaner isn't good when you do it to often, then why do the manufacturers say put it in every 3000 miles?
