Default Question?

Sup guys, 1st post here. Looks like I might be getting a 1995 es300 68k for $6000 and want to throw some nice wheels on it. However, it seems like no one has any pics of an older es300 on 20's, which is what I'm looking for. If ya'll could help me out, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to ClubLexus, liquid.

It's good to see that you're joining the Lexus family. However, please, please do not put 20's on an ES. The FWD car is simply not meant for wheels of such a size. The few occasions I've seen pics with ES300's on 20's are in threads regarding them as jokes.

Stick with 18's and you'll get the best look, IMO.

Yeah no 20's on the ES. 18's will do fine, the car just isn't cut out for 20's.

Welcome to CL liquid (cool S/N)

Unless you want to go for all "show", I highly advise not going to the 20's route. Most other ES owners in this forum will tell you the same thing.

The first GEN ES is a great looking car, I would suggest some nice 19s and a lowering job. Good luck

There was a pic of a 92-96 ES with 20s around here before, as good as my witness, a 4yr old could walk under it without ducking! LOL

As others have said here, go with 18's, you will regret putting 20's on an ES

Welcome to Clublexus. No one has pics as no one wants to take pictures of a 2nd gen ES with 20s or it might crack the camera lense for ugliness and hurt the cameramans brain for ugliness. Some 18s and a drop would look perfect.

Don't be like this guy

20's are way to big. if you put it on, it's a joke waiting to happen at a traffic light or at the parking lot. I'd max it at 18s

Hey welcome to the club lexus liquid and I agree with every one else, Just say no to Dubs. The ES would look hot with some real nice 19s and a drop, and with 19s on a es the average person won't know the diff. I had an avalon with 19s and people use to ask me all the time were they 20s.
