Can this be done on a 2001 ES300?

I have tried following those directions as I would love to have my car lock all door when taken out of Park, but thus far, no luck.

Good effort Italia, but if this procedure doesn't work on your '01 ES (as you have already demonstrated), then it most likely won't work for any of the pre-'02 ES models. I know all of the '02 and later ES by default have the auto-lock function. I agree that it's certainly a nice feature
