Unhappy Dented

It was not until after lunch today, that I found a quarter-sized dent on the passenger side rear quarter panel. I had no idea how the dent happened, but I could see a few fine horizontal surface scratches on the dent. I'm guessing someone slightly grazed that area of my car when parking

At any rate, I'm just pissed at the way people around here don't care for other cars on the roads. Compared to the driver's side of my car, the passenger side now looks like a mess with that dent (plus a couple other parking lot dents long time ago). I'm planning on using the Dent Wizard service at the dealership next week, hoping that they'll give me a reasonable estimate and fix all my dents. I'll post pics tonight.

What a way to start the weekend..

You know, that pisses me off too. People around here don't give a crap either. 4 months ago, a friggin full sized school bus turned the corner and her back tire clipped my front bumper. A whole lotta scratches but that's all. It's very visible and i have yet to fix it. Sonsa*****es.

Yeah, I know how you feel man... I have had lots of little dings/dents on my car when it was still beige and then I get the golf ball on the roof, dent on the door, and hit on run on the quarter panel all within a few weeks of the new paintjob... Had them all fixed though.

Doug, remember the dent you spotted on my right fender at the Alley Pond Park Meet? Dent Wizard took it out in minutes, and you would never know that it ever happened. $100 and I was good to go.

Yes Steve, I remember that dent on your car. It was pretty small but noticeable from a certain angle. It definitely seems like DW is the way to go to repair dents and dings.

Here are some pics of the dent on the rear quarter panel of the pass. side on my ES.

Note the bulge in the reflection of the panel (where the TAHOE badge sits). That's where the ding is.

Just quickly realized how hard it is by camera to capture dents and deformations on a black car

Did you get a quote yet?

I had a large dent and smaller ding removed by DW for a pretty reasonable price.

No quote yet for the dings. I got a lot of crap to take care of at home, so the dents will have to wait in the meantime

I'm sorry to hear about the dent and scratches. It's rare for someone to leave a note these days. This is exactly why I always try and park as far away from others as I can. I will walk further for a little more protection and peace of mind.

A friend of mind called me yesterday and told me how he almost decided to take someone's side mirror off. He returned from Blockbuster he found someone's front bumper touching his front bumper. The damage was minor if any. It was just the sheer inconsideration that made him angry. Thankfully, he didn't do it, but I can relate to the feeling.
