I went to several installer today, seems the only option is roof-mount. I realy don't want it to be on the roof, so, how dis you guys install a DVD player in the 300/330 and what model? I of course don't want to remove the Navigation suyetm, I love it...(by the way, mine is 330, and seems there is no way to show video on the Nav screen , otherwise that will be perfect..)

Yeah unfortunately that is the case for that JBL/Levinson unit. I'm sure theres way to alter the settings, but it would be very expensive to take apart and experiment.

Since you have a Nav system, your CD changer is in the arm rest correct? Get a DVD played mounted in the glove box and screens in the sun visors......or whereever the hell you want them. Shouldn't be overly difficult.

This is an interesting suggestion, so you mean by replacing the CD changer? Will the wiring be very difficult and will this void my car's warranty?
Any other ideas?

I'm in the same predicament as you. The only thing I could think of was to go the headrest route. Otherwise a portable DVD player may be the best and least expensive bet.

Looks like the glove box is the place...anyone has experience installing a DVD player inside glove box? Which model will fix?

theres already a mounting plate on the ceiling from the factory and the wires are already there for factory install. i have a 2003 rx330 ceiling hung factory dvd player if anyone wants to go factory. i know where there is a factory ceiling hung rx330 dvd player in a salvage yard if anyone is interested in factory install. save a lot of commotion.installing aftewrmarket. also would have back up camera possibility

You were saying RX300? How about ES300/330? Also wired on the ceiling?
