92 ES300-missing-sparking at igniter
My 92 300 ES has been missing lately. After popping the hood at night I could see that there is an arc at both the igniter and along the #4 or #6 plug wire. The plugs are new and the wires seem in good shape. Where should I look? Does this sound familiar?
Also, is there anywhere I can look online for a factory service manual for my car.
Thanks,
Dave

The igniter? Are you talking about the coil pack? If something is arcing, then it sounds like something isn't on tight. Did it start doing this when you replaced your plugs and plug wires?

Igniter/Coil pack, I am not sure. It is next to the AFM. The plug wire going to the motor is arcing and the #4 plug wire also glows a little.. Yes, I had my plugs replaced about a year ago and didn't have my wires replaced. So, you believe that something could just be loose? It just started happening.
Thanks for the reply

Go ahead and replace you plug wires and plugs again. Sounds like your plug wires are worn out. Even if thats not the problem, you'll at least have a set of fresh plugs, and plug wires which equals improved performance and mpg.
