Hello all, I'm relatively new to this forum and I just bought a 2002 ES300. I bought the car knowing that it had a p0442 and p0446 code. I checked the vacuum canister (looks good, no damage) and the suspect vsv switching valve but it was clicking like it's supposed to. I replaced the gas cap but I still don't hear any air escaping when I take it off. I did find some suspect vacuum hoses that I replaced and the p0446 went away.

My problem is I have an evap monitor that won't reset. After all the above fixes, the evap monitor finally did reset but the damn p0442 code returned and now I'm trying to do all the drive cycles over again.

Although I would love to hear from anyone that has any advice to offer, my main reason for posting is to share some information on drive cycles that I found online. These drive cycles are important for resetting monitors in preparation for taking your vehicle to be smogged and they have some very specific variables that have to be adhered to. Here is a link to the information I found. Hopefully it will help others who are having similar problems.

i know the es is not the first choice for modding but has anyone tried putting on LS calipers (front)? i figured it would be a nice BBK upgrade.

Default Passenger side rearview mirror "parts"

Hi all-

First post here for a friend of mine. He has a 1999 ES 300. Today, while driving home from work, he noticed that his passenger mirror was hanging by the plug. He thinks that someone stole a part off the mirror because he did not hit anything. He has to park in a questionable area, so it's likely someone needed a part.

My question- in looking at mirror parts on Ebay, it looks like he is missing the square white plastic piece right behind the mirror. Not sure if any other parts are missing because I don't know how the mirror is held in?

I figured that all the experts here could answer my question faster than a Google search. What parts does he need or does he have to replace the whole assembly?

I'm going to try to attach a picture. I think I can do it because this setup is similar to my GM car discussion groups. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Anybody know if any cold air intakes fit an 05 es 330?
