Unhappy 1500 rpm issue

hi everyone. i got a big problem with my engine. my car makes a funny noise like you would hear on a subaru when it start. (this started happen from doing trips of 15 mile about 80mph a few time a week ) The thing with my car is that my engine pull the car back and forward (1 inch, dont really know just a feeling) and it rubbles (car shaks a bit) when i stop at a light and contunes to do so when driving at low rpm like 1500. And on top of that the "CHECK" light came on 3 days later. but this thing comes on and off every now and than. (fells like bad shifting going on to me)

Quick info of my car stats right now it has about 123000 miles on it. I just replaced new sparkplug to some Denso. (did not change cable no $$$ ), Changed my oil. I even bought one of those liquid thing you pour into the gas tank to clean fuel injection and stuff.

thank guys.

1st a few things before shelling out your $:

Did your car behave this way before you changed the plugs?

If not, then recheck all of your plug cable sand ensure they are on properly.

Another way you can see if your cables are any good is to check theire resistance with a multimeter. Without one, then park your car in a very dark area (no light), open the hood and stare at the plug cables. Look for a bluish glow around the cable. This will sometimes indicate a bad cable.

Did you properly gap your spark plugs? Did you torque your plugs down properly?

Did you drop a spark plug? Replace that one if you did.

Is your air filter housing properly sealed? How about the air filter housing hoses as well.
There area bunch of other tips, but let's start with those.

BTW... I'm not a mechanic, I just learn the hard way. hehe

Default How about this:

Distributor cap and rotor?
If they weren't replaced, look for corrosion and scrape off.

Describe the noise on start-up. Is it a hissing noise?

What error codes came up on your car? I'm sure someone here has posted instructions on code reading and codes, just do a search for it.

What year is your car?

good news. i got it fix. the thing that was tripping out the sensor was due to dirty intake. i bought some stuff at auto zone and started to clean out the whole intake system. the car run much smoother and when i reach 1500 rpm its much smoother. lets hope it gets smother in the long run. thanks for your help man.

That's great news! Now all you have to do is prevent that from happening again.
