what if I smoked the red part of the lense just a little darker......I think it looks sweet!!! dark cherry

here are some ideas..........has anyone done this to the red on the es?

I think its just like smoking the headlights except you paint the inside of the lens(cover? not sure what its called) rather than the inside of the light assembly. I'd love to do this too, I think that looks great.

Hobby store for this paint I think. Not positive though.

its the same as spraying the lens with transparent black paint, but less coats.. and a good wetsand n buff

outside...

I've been wanting to do this, but I don't think it would look good on the 92-96 tails... let alone the color of my car.

well juan remember the "turbo" 92-96 es had smoked tailights and they looked pretty good. They were more black than red though. Do you think it would look nice on my dark green car?

I've been thinking about doing the smoked out look on my taillights since I have a black ES. I'm not sure if I'm going to do it or not. My friend with a 2k Accord coupe smoked his tails with left over tint. It looks pretty clean as well.
