i want to get an air intake and was wondering if a camry one will fit, does anyone know if the maf is also the same on the camry?

No it will not work unless you have a 97-98 1MZ-FE non VVTi. Since you have VVTi on your 1MZ-FE, it features a dual throttle body system that will not work with the intakes for the non VVT-i 1MZ-FE V6 Camry/Solara/Avalon models.
