Tapping sound/vibration Help!
Lately when I've been driving the es it makes this sort of tapping/rattling sound. It only happens when I maintain speed on the accelerator and occasionally when I slow down. It has gotten real bad. Its coming from the drivers side in the front. I've checked my wheel there and cant find anything wrong with it. THe sound does seem to be rotation related however. I cant figure this out, it doesnt make the sound when I accelerate constantly. It can also only be heard from inside the car. The vibration it makes is very mild. I really hope someone has a solution for me, I've been scared to drive my car. Thanks in advance.

Check your CV boots for tearing. If they're torn, it means you need to replace one or both axles.

Flip is right. This particular type of noise and vibration sounds like a worn CV joint....and CV joints often are one assembly with the front drive shaft, so you can't replace one without the other.
