I changed the deck in my ES but i noticed a whining noise when i press on the gas, even if i turn the volume to 0 it still happens. Does anybody have a clue??

Probably ignition or spark plug noise. There are several ways to deal with that....from resistor spark plugs to noise filters in the audio system. I'm not an expert in this area but I'm sure some of the CL members can come up with some specifics.

 

That type of noise is a popping or buzzing, whereas a whining sound is caused by the alternator, in most cases.

 

i agree, im thinkin its the alternator. However, if it's not electronically related, then it's prolly a loose belt.
