I was wonder how to change my blinker ticking sound into the 2000 model... because I don't know what year have this but in my 98 when I use my blinker, it's like tick tick tick...( so loud I need to rise my voice to talk to someone..)but in my other 2000 ES.. it's all nice and it's nice and smooth.... anyone knows how???

 

My belief is that the ticking noise is due to the irregular blinking operation of your front turn signal(s) on your '98 ES. If the bulb blinks fast, then the ticking rate should follow accordingly. Normally the blinking sound should be like in the '00 ES you mentioned (as well as my '01 ES hehe)

Anyway, take a look at your blinker signal and let us know.

 

If you're talking about making the ticking sound louder like the one in your 98...I believe you can just replace the flasher unit with one from an older car. Hope this helps.

 

what I am trying to say is... this blinker ticking sound is the same since I brought the car.. but just that it's quiter in my 2000 model... so is that what you trying to say.. that I can brought the flashing unit which is for 2000 model???
