My car got vandalized!

I parked my 2002 ES300, with not a mark on it, in the underground parking lot of Nordstrom in Montclair Plaza, Montclair, CA, on 9/8/2004, in the handicapped parking slot, and took my dad upstairs for some coffee. When we came down, someone had keyed the hood and down the right fender and both doors. There is a camera on the wall on the other side of the lot which did not capture whoever did it, and there is one right next to where I parked but it only captured the elevator it is focused on. So now I am faced with either paying $2200.00 for the repair or turning it into my insurance company. I guess some kid got a charge out of it..........which, of course, is the important thing!

Actually, I have a handicapped placard which hangs from the window; its for my dad who just turned 81 on 9/3. We have been going there almost every day for the past 7+ years. Two cups of coffee.......................and over $2,200.00 in damage!

The thing is that it has a backup battery, and multi-piezo sirens inside the car. If they break in the car, their eardrums are going with it. [/B]
