Reset Computer ES300
#17
hey guys I want to thank everyone who gave me some insight on my P0505 code issue. The ES 300 is fixed and up and running perfectly!!!! I replaced the IAC valve and reset the check engine light by removing the ECU fuse (I think thats what it was). Feels like a totally different car. I tip my brim to the creators of this site....!!! And I give a middle finger to all the stealerships across America.

Sure
Unplug the ecu for a few hrs . I did this once to reset it. You can purchase a refurbished one .also.94 es should work or Camry xle also. You may find one in a salvage yard or online

We have an 2015 ES300H burning California gas. Does the ECU "learn" our driving habits? We have "seat1" and "seat2" memory settings with two different driving habits (husband & wife). Is the ECU smart enough to average each driver or the pair combined? One of us has a lead foot and the other keeps the dial in the ECO area!

Yes your ECU would adapt to both styles of driving. It will bias the one with more time.

Hello. I'm hoping that someone here will save me.
Started off with code P0305. Replaced all plugs & #5 coil pack. Still code P0305 swapped new coil pack from 5 to 6. Still code P0305. Did compression test it was good so replaced #5 injector. Then replaced plenum gasket just in case. Then P0300, P0304, P0305, P0171, P0122, P0222, P0355, P2135, P0174 however all went away except P0305 when battery was disconnected. Now Idk what to do. Dude that was helping gave up so i gave him up. Any suggestions cuz i have no idea what to do. I was driving it anyway but unable to now cuz two days ago it overheated but reservoir is still full. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
**Also replaced all coil packs with new ones.
