Then that will solve all the overheating and powersteering problems. Thehigh pressure powersteering hose usually costs around $300 at the dealer. Look around, it may be cheaper elsewhere.
Yes youre right On a 92-93 the cooling fan is diven by the power steering pump. It is NOT electric. Its hydraulic so leaky pump (or hose) could mean hot engine

I opened that cap that was on the corner to the engine there and there was no coolant in there. So I decided to add a gallon of coolant. I start my car and there's a lot of coolant flying out of my exhaust. The engine started shaking real bad so I turned the car off. I checked the oil and it seemed fine. I think a gasket is blown. I had it towed to my house and a day later I find that the oil is turning brown. I think water is leaking to the oil now too. Do I need a new motor or is it cheaper to rebuild the motor?
You definitely have head gasket(s) issues... Thats a 92-93? Scrap it man, Even if you do head gaskets the heads are warped beyond spec. Its junk, BUT I am looking for a parts car

The other day a friend of mine who was taking a ride with me noticed that the volume goes up and down slightly when listening to the radio. This also happens when listening to a c.d. anyone else ever have this problem? If so what is the solution?
Yes Pull the volume **** off (if you can) and blow air behind it. This will also eliminate fuzzyness when adjusting volume. Also do your bass, treb, etc.... The volume control has small increments instead of a gradual up/down.

Problems I am facing with my 1995 es300 170,000 is

-the motor jumps when I accelerate even in parked and when i get in second gear with my auto transmission, my car tends to jump, so I am assuming it is my motor mounts.

-when I start up the car in the winter when it is 10 degrees the car is quite loud so I am also assuming it is a belt. But when it warms up is disappears from some reason and is very quiet! (what is that?!@?!?!)

-Due to the motor mount fault, the y pipe had cracked so I need to replace
that as well. Mecanic cost = $400.00 has anyone experiecned the same thing?

Problems That Occur With My 2002 ES300:

1. Transmission Lag / Hesitation!

2. Left Rear Window jumps and studders SOMETIMES when i put it up from being completely down. (This COULD BE from moisture?)

3. When i turn the key to ignite the engine, it does not spark right away, rather it cranks for longer then i think it should...

4. When i start the engine on a cold morning (car is garaged and it's -15.c outside), the car idles in park at about 1200-1500rpm, once i place it in drive it goes down to 900rpm. Doesn't seem right... but it maybe from the cold.

I believe that's it, anyone can give me some advice on this?

I have a 2000 ES 300. My trac off/ ABS light has been on since Nov 06. My brakes felt funny when I applied them, so I had the brakes checked by my regular mechanic and he couldnt find an issue as far as pads, etc were concerned. I called Toyota and they said I had to take it to the Lexus dealership, they didn't have the what was needed to check the ABS system. Took it last Saturday to Johnson/Lexus in Durham, they gave me a loaner car (2005 ES 300, nice features, lol). Anyway Issac my service person said that my actuator is gone and the replacement cost with labor is right at $1600 (Whew!). I asked if it was something that could wait, he said no that my brakes could lock up at anytime. Its supposed to be ready today 2/21 but havent heard anything yet. Has been nice riding around in the 2005, but I miss my baby!

Well I got my car back today. Total cost $1791. They replaced the acutator assy, brake. The diagnostic codes that the tech found were CO236 , C0226, CO246. CO256 and CO1223. Tech says no short circuits were found with the codes. Failure with the ABS Actuator.

(basically the heat from the exhaust pipe burns the oil) Also another leak (when the car is running) is right next to the right of the oil filter. I can't seem to fix both of these problems on my own. I don't want to take it to a mechanic yet, I want to know if these problems are fixable without a mechanic/dealer.
Rear Valve Cover Leaking
Oil fiter housing is leaking... I See it a lot on 2.2 4-banger Camrys

It hasn't even been a week and this morning when I started down the road the tra/off, ABS light pops back on. I called Issac and left a message. I haven't heard anything back from him yet!

Hi, Thanks for the sympathy. I have been sick about having to pay that much money out. By the way my name is Sophia. I had to be to work at 5 this morning and on down the road the trac off/ABS light pops back on. So I called my service man at the Johnson/Lexus dealership, Issac and left a message. I haven't heard anything back from him yet!
