Default front bottom hit speedbump

i have a 92 es300 with 107K, sometimes when i go over speedbumps, the driverside bottom (under my feet) hit the speedbump. do i have a broken strut? but only sometimes, not all the time. my engine rocks back and forth when i rev the engine, which mount is broken and is it hard for me to replace myself?

how much labor and parts cost are we talking about here? please help, i don't want to get rip off by mechanics because i'm a woman.

I don't recommend you to replace engine mount yourself. If you have to replace them you have to replace both at the same time. Like you replace your brake pads always replace a set not just one.

You might have a left strut problem. I replaced my 97 Avalon front struts costs me around $200 bucks part and labor. Keep in mind you may need to do a front wheel alignment if you replace your strut.

Good luck.

that aint nothing. bring it to me and i will replace all mounts for you, just bring the mounts and a 12 pack LOL. (im seriosu, i dont knwo where you are located, but if your close, PM me)

chances are (and i hate to say this) you steering rack and inner tie rods are bad. that is what is wrong with my 1990 ES250. today i had it on a lift for a brake joba nd i noticed the front wheels clunked when i lifted them off of the ground. i reached down, and they wiggle alomst an inchto eother side, with the steering wheel locked.

this is a $1,300+ repair...
but for yours, it may be just the motor mounts clunking. i know mine on my old car did that when they wetn out. and i woudl feel a constant tap in the gas pedal.

That's definitely the engine mounts. Dog bone and the two other mounts are probably in need of change
