Help, car won't start..
After getting up this morning to gotto class, i get into my car and try to start it. All i hear is a rapid clicking noise, and the engine does not even turn over. I don't think its the battery because the indicator said it was good and all of the lights and stuff worked. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know wat it could be? thanx

Most likely it IS the battery. One test is to look at your dome light when it's on and then crank your starter. If the dome light get's very dim while cranking it is definitely your battery.

hey amf, the dome light goes off completely when i crank it (which i'm not sure if does normally or if it stays on) and the gauge lights flicker along with the clicking. I'm gonna try to boost it in the morning. Let you know how it turns out

I'm sure that boosting the battery will start your engine, but you should go to a shop that has a load tester to check the condition of your battery. There probably is a bad cell which caused the car to lose it's charge. In the past I've used 'Sears Die Hard' replacement batteries with great success, and they lasted over 6 years. Good Luck!

Possible that it is a starter problem, but probably a 95-99% chance it is just a low or almost dead battery. You don't necessarily have to replace it...that will depend on whether it will still hold a charge. The reason some of your other accessories worked and the starter didn't was that the starter takes MUCH more current to operate than simple light bulbs or fan motors. That is why, when the battery gets low, the starter is almost always the first thing you notice
A agree that the Sears DieHard is an excellent battery....but some aftermarket batteries are difficult to find in the exact size and terminal configuratrion for some Japanese cars. If Sears (or another brand) has one to fit your car perfectly, fine. If not, the dealer is probably the best place to shop even though it isn't the cheapest.
